Anyone who wishes to monitor drilling in real-time either the wellsite or in the office.

Course Overview

Students will learn how to use WITS and WITSML protocols to receive real-time data and update their geopressure analysis with this real-time data. 

Prerequisites

Basic familiarity with drilling processes and computer usage.

Real-time geopressure analysis

Receiving real-time data at the office or wellsite using WITS and WITSML protocols

• WITS protocol overview
• Setup WITS configuration in Drillworks Predict.
• Receiving real-time data and updating model
• WITSML

Practical

Using real data setup predrill model and update using data streamed in via WITS protocol.
