Features

Did You Know ?

Did you know that you can add functionality to Drillworks with user-defined methods and user-defined programs? If you have used Drillworks Predict, you have probably noticed the toolbar buttons labeled “UDM” and “UDP”. These are abbreviations for “User-Defined Method” and “User-Defined Program”, respectively.
A UDM or a UDP can be used to create a new dataset that has all the functionality of any other computed dataset. With UDMs and UDPs, you can add additional functions to your Drillworks toolbox. This can be useful for several reasons.

JIP Focused on Practical Wellbore Stability Prediction

Sanctioned by the DEA, the objective of this joint industry project is to identify and develop best practices for practical wellbore stability analysis.  Guidelines will be developed to assess the relative priority of data types and the minimum data needed for effective modeling.  Learn more.

Gulf of Mexico Pressure and Stress Database

Knowledge Systems would like to invite you to learn more about our Gulf of Mexico Pressure and Stress Database at http://www.gompsd.com/.  Visit the site and download a five well sample from the database of more than 500 wells from the Gulf of Mexico.  Each well comes with a definitive analysis of overburden, pore and fracture pressure.  Header, survey, well log and calibration data are included for completeness and support of analyses.  Learn more.
